2.2 – Construction of the Multipurpose/Container Terminal in the Port of Ploče (Phase I)

Scope of contract: Port of Ploče Authority is planning to build new Multipurpose/Container Terminal. Final stage of development would ensure annual handling capacity of 100.000 TEU. Phase I for annual handling capacity of 60.000 TEU would be built now.
Major construction works:
- Dredging and restructuring of sea water area for the arrival of the vessels,
- Quay construction (length 300m; depth 13.5m) and RO RO ramp,
- Construction and land restructuring of storage and handling area of 34.000 m2,
- Construction of access roads and railway tracks
- Construction of water supply system and collection and treatment of rainwater and technological wastewater,
- Electrical installations for power supply of handling equipment and lighting, restructuring of entrance facility with premises for the terminal staff.
