Contract description: Environment Audit of the Port of Freetown

Contract Number: IDP/SLPA/ENV/CONS/01

Scope of contract: Conduct an environmental audit to establish the environmental baseline for the preparation, development and implementation of a prioritized EMP; perform an independent review of the current state of the environment and working practices within the designated area of operations to establish the environmental liabilities for SLPA/GoSL and the future private owners/operators; and produce a report detailing all the environmental issues that need to be addressed, the mitigatory methods and establishment of performance monitoring indicators that will be employed by the concessionaire, the licensed stevedores and SLPA.

Duration: Three (3) Months
