INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The Department of Education, Division of Zamboanga del Norte, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites suppliers/ manufacturers/distributors/contractors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project:

Contract Duration : One hundred twenty calendar days
Delivery Period : 1st delivery (50%) - April 28, 2008
2nd delivery (50%) - June 27, 2008

Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criteria as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations of R.A. 9184 known as the Government Procurement Reform Act, and is restricted to organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interests or outstanding capital stocks belonging to citizens of the Philippines, as specified in Republic Act 5183. Only Bids from Bidders who pass the eligibility check will be opened. The process for the eligibility check is described in Section II, Instruction to Bidders of the Bidding Documents.

For Bidders outside this province are required to submit Mayor's Permit from any municipality of Zamboanga del Norte.

Bid Documents will be available only to prospective bidders upon payment of a non-refundable amount of FIVE THOUSAND PESOS only (P5,000.00) to the ZN Division Cashier.

The Department of Education, Zamboanga del Norte Division BAC reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or bidders.
