moves to restructure and consolidate the defence industrial base at EU
level have occurred over the last years. The European Commission wishes to
conclude a contract to study future potential evolution of the defence
industry base in the context of the gradual establishment of the European
Defence Market (EDEM). For the purpose, the study will present the current
state of play and elaborate scenarios of evaluation depending upon the
modus operandi of an EDEM.
