RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE PROCUREMENT OF VARIOUS GOODS AND SERVICES THROUGH DIRECT CONTRACTING AS ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF PROCUREMENT

WHEREAS, several offices requested for the procurement of various goods and services through Direct Contracting as its Alternative Mode of Procurement .



WHEREAS, Sec. 50 (c ) provides the use of Direct Contracting in the procurement of items as mentioned hereunder, sold by an exclusive dealer or manufacturer which does not have sub- dealers selling at lower prices and for which no suitable substitute can be obtained at more advantageous terms to the Government;

NOW THEREFORE , In view of the aforesaid, it is resolved as it is hereby resolved that the factual circumstances warrant and necessitate the use and employment of Alternative Methods of Procurement specifically through Direct Contracting;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the use of Alternative Methods of Procurement for the aforesaid Purchase Request, specifically through Direct Contracting (c), is justified and is recommended for the approval of the Head of the Procuring Entity by reason of the existence of the conditions as set forth by The Act and in line with the promotion of economy and efficiency in the procurement system;

Approved budget: PHP 780,000.00
