Expressions of interest

The Government of the Republic of Croatia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Science & Technology Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services.
The goal of the Consulting service is to provide international best-practices in setup and operations of an innovation and technology transfer agency, the Rudjer Innovations Ltd (RI), as well as contacts with relevant European institutions and companies with interest in exploitation of high-tech innovations. The Rudjer Innovations Ltd. shall be the main participator in the connecting of the scientific institutions of the Republic of Croatia, and in the first place of the Rudjer Boskovic Institute with the economical, financial and investment entities at home and abroad. The estimated time required for the assignment is 40 man/days within a 25-month time-frame to be completed by end of 2009.

The Ministry of Science, Education and Sports now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services.

A consultant will be selected as an Individual Consultant in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers , current edition.

Expressions of Interest must be delivered to the address below by October 9, 2007, 16.00 hours local time.
