INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID
ITB NO.: 08-10-2007

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) is inviting all interested bidders in its forthcoming public bidding for the project stated hereunder:

Name of Project : Supply and Delivery of One (1) Unit 6-Wheeler Closed Van

Technical Specifications: 6-Wheeler Closed Van, 4D34 - 2A Diesel, 5-Speed Manual, Power Steering,
Aircon: Front single A/C; Painting: Standard Silver metallic finish

Approved Budget : One Million Two Hundred Eighty Thousand Pesos (Php1,280,000.00)

Source of Fund : Internally Funded

Only suppliers duly registered with PAGCOR shall be allowed to participate in the bidding. Unregistered suppliers must register at the Suppliers Registration & Evaluation Section (SRES), Procurement & Property Department (PPD), 2nd Floor PAGCOR House, 1330 Roxas Blvd., Ermita, Manila, Tel. No. 526-0573.

Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding. The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary "pass/fail" criteria. Post qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Pre-Bid Conference, Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR).

The schedule of activities is listed, as follows:

1. Issuance of Bid Documents Sept 04, 2007 - Sept 24, 2007
2. Pre-Bid Conference Sept 11, 2007 (2:30 pm)
3. Submission of Bids Sept 25, 2007 (4:00 pm)
4. Opening of Bids Sept 25, 2007 (4:00 pm onwards)

Complete details of the project are indicated in the bid documents which will be available to prospective bidders at the BAC Secretariat Unit, Room 205 2nd Floor PAGCOR House 1330 Roxas Boulevard, Ermita, Manila upon payment of a non-refundable bidding fee of Eight Hundred Pesos (Php 800.00). In order to secure the documents, bidders should present the Official Receipt issued by our Cashier to the BAC Secretariat.

PAGCOR assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.

PAGCOR reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all Bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
