The Defense Commissary Agency is seeking a small business seafood supplier to provide assorted frozen seafood for U.S. Military Commissaries in Europe. All deliveries are FOB Norfolk, VA. The first shipment must be accomplished on or about January 15, 2008. The qualification standard for this acquisition is all seafood shall be from an approved source listed in the Worldwide Directory of Sanitarily Approved Food Establishment for Armed Forces Procurement (Website: http://vets.amedd.army.mil/86256F90007C2D1D/VETCOM) or provide proof of other Federal inspections accepted by the U.S. Army Veterinary Command. The following estimate is provided.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 424460, which sets the small business size threshold at 500 employees. A combined synopsis and solicitation will be issued on or about October 1, 2007.
