General Procurement Notice

PHILIPPINES

The Government of the Republic of the Philippines has received a loan
from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the
amount of USD 18,000,000 equivalent toward the cost of the Judicial
Reform Support Project, and it intends to apply the proceeds of this
loan to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting
services to be procured under this project. Bidding for contracts
financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development
will be governed by the procurement rules of the World Bank.

The Judicial Reform Support Project tends to the restructuring of the
judicial system in the Philippines.

The project will include the following goods, works and services:

- institution development (Institution management services)
- information and communication technology development
(Information systems or technology planning services)
- infrastructure development; (Network infrastructure)
- knowledge-sharing and strengthening of the project management
office (Project-management services)

Procurement of contracts financed by the loan will be conducted
through the procedures specified in Procurement under IBRD Loans and
IDA Credits[1] of the World Bank, and is open to all bidders from
eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines. Consulting
services will be selected in accordance with Selection and Employment
of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers[2] of the World Bank.

Interested eligible bidders who wish to be included on the mailing
list to receive an invitation bid under ICB procedures, and interested
consultants who wish to receive a copy of the advertisement requesting
expressions of interest for large-value consultants’ contracts, or
those requiring additional information, should write the address
below..

Specific procurement notices for contracts to be bid under
international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures will be announced,
as they become available, in the Development Gateway Market.
