Copies of its audited financial statements (must be positive) for the past three fiscal years.

(b) Experience and Technical Capacity
The Bidder shall furnish documentary evidence to demonstrate that it meets the following experience requirement:
A minimum level of Five (5) years experience in manufacturing / authorized agent / authorized distributor in a similar type of goods for which the Invitation for Bids is issued.

A margin of preference for eligible national contractors shall be applied, as appropriate. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.

ARAB REPUBLIC OF EGYPT
HEALTH SECTOR REFORM PROGRAM {Cr. No: EGT- 3076}
Supplying Mask N95
IFB No. 12/Goods/WB/ICB/2006

1. This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. 493 (Article ref. WB896-493/98) 31 August 1998 and 16 October, 2002 and 23 November 2003 General Procurement Notice on 31 August,2001 in El Gomhoria newspaper and on 1 September , 2001 in Al Ahram newspaper and on 16 October, 2002 in El Gomhoria and Al Ahram newspapers and on 23 November 2003 in El Gomhoria and Al Ahram newspapers.

2. The Arab Republic of Egypt - Ministry of Health and Population has received a Credit from the International Development Association towards the cost of Health Sector Reform Program (HSRP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract of Supplying, transportation installation and operational training (if applicable ) of the following:
Supplying Mask N95

3. The Central Department for Technical Support and Projects now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for supplying the following:
Lot no. : Lot 1
Item: 1
Item Description: Mask N95
Qty: 5,000,000

The supplier will be responsible for delivery for the whole lot.

4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from The Central Department for Technical Support and Projects and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below:

6. Qualifications requirements include:
(a) Financial Capability
The Bidder shall furnish documentary evidence that it meets the following financial requirement(s):

7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of 300 EGP (Three Hundred Egyptian Pounds only) or in US$ 60 (Sixty US Dollars only) The method of payment will be cash or certified check payable to Ministry of Health and Population – Health Sector Reform Program. Add fee US$25 to send the bid documents by Courier.

8. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before (31/5/2007) at 12:00 noon. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security valid for 150 days from the bid opening date a follows :

9. Note:
•Bid security, Advance payment and the Performance guarantee should be confirmed through correspondent bank in Egypt.

•Bid Form and Price Schedules (section VI in the Bidding Document) must be filled for each submitted lot separately.

•Maximum of two partial shipment are allowed for each lot.

•Any supplier or his agent should have a certified services and maintenance center for the provision of after sales services and maintenance setup in Egypt.
