The services required will involve technical assistance.
7. Contract description: The aim of the project is to improve access to
water and pasture in transhumance corridors for small-scale producers.
The project will include an assessment, an inventory and GIS mapping of
the transhumance corridors used and of the water points and pastures for
communities of herdsmen. An analysis of requirements in terms of
legislation and regulations on access to water and land will also be
carried out. Finally, this project will favour an approach involving
investigation and action in order to identify pragmatic solutions to
improving management and access, with a view to developing the best
solutions in the future.
8. Maximum indicative budget: EUR 3 500 000.
