CONSULTING SERVICES FOR FINANCIAL AUDIT

Expressions of interest

The Government of Sierra Leone has received a grant from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of the Infrastructural Development Project H191-SL. It is the intention of the Ministry of Transport & Communications and IDA to apply part of the proceed of this grant for the account of the Infrastructural Development Project be audited in accordance with accepted standards of Auditing and reported on as required by IDA general guidelines on Financial, Reporting and Auditing of Project.

The objective of the audit of the account is to express a professional opinion on the financial statements of the Infrastructural Development Project for the period 19th April 2005 ending December 31st 2006 and of the funds received paid expenditures and usage of the special account for the accounting period stated above as reported by the Project.

The Ministry of Transport & Communications now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers , May 2004.

Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours (0900 to 1600 hours).

Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below by Friday December 29, 2006.
