Republic of Sierra Leone 'Institutional Support for Fisheries Management'
(SL/002/05) — 9 ACP SL 019.

1402, Freetown, Sierra Leone.
6. Contract description: The present contract's object is the hiring of
one or more commercial/research vessels for the conduct of a marine
resources stock assessment. The vessel(s) will be hired for an aggregated
period of 6 to 8 weeks per year for 3 consecutive years starting 1st
quarter 2007. The vessel(s) shall be able to accommodate 2–4 scientists on
the bridge, equipped with required navigation aids and furnished with an
operational crew to carry-out trawling and other research surveys 24h/day.
7. Indicative number of titles and lots: One lot only.
8. Intended timing of publication: 15.2.2007.
9. Additional information: The management of this contract will be placed
under the responsibility of the technical assistance team hired for the
implementation of the Institutional Support for Fisheries Management
project, (publication reference of the procurement procedure for the
service contract: EuropeAid/123548/D/SER/SL).
The general conditions of this contract will be those for supply contracts
financed by the European Development Fund (EDF) annexed to Decision No
2/2002 of the ACP-EU Council of Ministers published in OJL 320 of
23.11.2002.
10. Legal basis: ACP-EC Partnership Agreement signed at Cotonou on
23.6.2000.
Decision No 2/2002 of the ACP-EC Council of Ministers published in OJ L
320 of 23.11.2002.
