6. Contract description: The subject of the contract is the supply of
equipment (including maintenance and spare kits — where appropriate):
Lot 1: mooring installation equipment:
— 2 mooring installation systems.
Lot 2: mooring materials:
— different quantities of mooring materials; e.g. buoys, ropes, shackles,
thimbles, chains, earth and pin anchors).
Lot 3: dive equipment:
— 1 under water communication system,
— 1 air compressor,
— 2 breathing air analysers for CO, CO2, oil vapour, water vapour,
— 6 under water scooters,
— 10 emergency oxygen delivery systems,
— 10 hard cases,
— 25 sets of personal diving equipment,
— 5 underwater camcorders (including underwater housing),
— 6 digital cameras (including underwater housing),
— 10 technical buoyancy compensators for under water works,
— 16 air lift bags of 4 different sizes,
— 2 ultra sonic cleaning devices.
Lot 4: monitoring field and laboratory equipment (wildlife and marine
monitoring, marine mammal monitoring and protection):
— various monitoring and measuring instruments and equipment (weather
station, wave and tide recorder, field scopes, field binoculars,
electronic dendrometer, laser rangemeter, etc.),
— 8 GPS,
— 10 camera trap kits (including stealth cam sets),
— 1 deep freezer for ultra deep freezing,
— 2 full bird ringing stations,
— 5 field generators.
Lot 5: tracking system for the Sharm el Sheikh diving sites:
— 1 central control unit,
— 20 on-boat tracking units.
Lot 6: vehicles:
— 5 permanent 4-wheel drive cars (off-road type),
— 1 mobile lab car, permanent 4-wheel drive (off-road type),
— 1 mini truck; mobile conservation/education unit,
— 1 midi-bus for 25 persons,
— 3 4-wheel drive cars (pick-up type); fully equipped audio/visual mobile
units.
Lot 7: multimedia, communication, office and IT equipment:
— 8 plasma monitors,
— 16 computers with touch screen,
— 7 data show projectors (beamer),
— 8 desktop computers, with printer and scanner,
— 5 notebook computers,
— 2 marine notebook computers,
— 6 digital camcorders,
— 4 digital cameras,
— 1 audio equipment,
— 1 heavy duty copy machine for office services,
— 1 photocopy machine,
— 16 VHF radios, waterproof, marine handheld VHF-transceivers.
