6. Contract description: The purpose of this contract is to provide the
appropriate equipment for Croatian asylum services in order to become
ready for the full implementation of the regulations relating to 'Eurodac'
and 'Dublin II' upon the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the
European Union.
The contract aims at procurement, installation and testing of the
equipment, as well as training for the relevant staff members of the
beneficiaries, both for the operators and administrators of the system.
7. Indicative number and titles of lots: Lot 1 — Livescann system;
lot 2 — IT equipment;
lot 3 — communication equipment.
8. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice:
September/October 2006.
