This request for Expression of Interest follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in Development Business on Monday June 27, 2005.

The Government of Sierra Leone has received a grant from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of the Infrastructure Development Project (IDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant for the payment under the contract for the Supervision of the rehabilitation/reconstruction works of the Bo/Kenema and Makeni/Matotoka highways.

The services include the management and supervision of the rehabilitation works of the Bo/Kenema (65Km) and Makeni/Matotoka (35Km) highways. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004.
