1. The FEDERATIVE REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL through the Ministry of Social Security, has received a Loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development towards the cost of the PrevMunicipios, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contract for the accomplishment of the re-registration of active employees, inactive employees and allowance beneficiaries of municipalities

2.The Ministry of Social Security - hereinafter referred to as “the Purchaser” now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of the following services:

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from The Ministry of Social Security - MPS and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 8:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. or at web page www.comprasnet.gov.br where any further clarification related to technical specifications will be posted.

4. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 ninety days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by security of as described below or its equivalent in a convertible currency, and shall be delivered to Ministério da Previdência Social – Esplanada dos Ministérios, Bloco “F” – Ala “A” Room 361- ZIP Code 70059-900 - Brasília/DF – Brazil on or before at which time they will be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend. Bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m. (Brasilia time) of the August 21, 2006 at the following in the address specified above.
