The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448-5100 plans to procure on a sole source basis, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the following items: 5 each p/n H-AS-DPCIG02M-20 PCI Scramnet SC150E 2MB Cards 1 each p/n H-AS-D6VME01M-20 6U VME Scramnet Plus Fiber Media Card with 1 MB memory 6 each p/n BHAS-RELAY16 16 Relay Industry Pack IP Module and 4 each p/n BHAS-DID48 48 Debounced Digital Input Industry Pack IP Modules. The suggested vendo r is Systran Corporation, 4126 Linden Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45432-3018. The basis for sole source for the above listed items is that Systran is the Sole Original Equipment Manufacturer (Curtiss Wright) of the Scramnet boards. Systram designed, developed and manufactures them exclusively. The boards will be used in conjunction with Navy programs supporting the Tomahawk Weapons Control Systems. Items will be quoted as F.O.B. Destination to the Receiving Officer at the address given above, Bldg. 125. Questions regarding this notice may be directed to 540-653-4304, referencing the quote # N00178-06-Q-0002. This requirement shall close July 21, 2006. Award is anticipated on or before July 31st.
