Pursuant to FAR Part 5.203, this synopsis provides notice of FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphias intent to solicit a proposal to purchase, the following commercial services, in accordance with FAR PART 12, in a competitive, unrestricted manner. The required items are listed below. The items are of commercial type and are: Food Services at the Naval Hospital Pensacola. The services consist of galley operations as well as inpatient food services as outlined in the forthcoming solicitation. These items will be used to support the Commanding Officer, Naval Hospital, Pensacola, FL. The resultant contract is anticipated to commence 1 Oct 06 through 30 Sep 07 and consist of four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for a total performance period of 60 months, if all options are exercised. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. The instant acquisition shall be conducted using FAR Part 12. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 722212. The solicitation will be made available electronically upon its release, which is anticipated on or about 20 Jul 06 at the NECO web address: www.neco.navy.mil. Interested parties may download the RFQ from the NECO website and are solely responsible for monitoring the above-mentioned website for posting. Quoters shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. See www.ccr.gov for further information and instructions. In addition, quoters are required to go-online to the Business Partner Network at http://orca.bpn.gov to complete their Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) prior to submittal of a quotation.
