SYNOPSIS
Air Combat Command Contracting Squadron, Langley AFB VA, is planning to procure Multiple Ground-Based Tactical Data Link Systems (GTS) capable of establishing a network over (user-supplied) Link 16 terminals or Situation Awareness Data Link radios. The GTS will display aircraft data and position of network participants, provide and manipulate command and control data, and record near real-time flow of events for debrief use. Delivery, set-up, and initial training of operators and maintainers and support of software and hardware will be included in the purchase. The government expects to make an award on or about 30 Jul 06. This acquisition will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) on or about 23 Jun 06. Statement of Work (SOW) will be posted on Fed Biz Ops with the RFP. The Air Force will consider and respond to all inputs received. Industry response is encouraged to ensure all parties have maximum opportunity to participate in this procurement. The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies will not be made available. To assist us in maintaining a list of interested offerors for this potential procurement, please provide your company name, a point of contact, address, phone number, and business size. The information will be placed on the GTS source list and will be used to notify potential offeror(s) of major changes/amendments to draft or solicitation documents. However, it is the offeror(s) responsibility to monitor the Internet for the release of the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer and each offer will be considered.
