General Procurement Notice

KAZAKHSTAN

This project will provide: Civil works for the rehabilitation of the
airport's main runway, taxiways and apron. Consultants to prepare
engineering designs, to assist with launching international tenders,
to supervise the civil works, and to assist with general project
implementation.

The project will include the following goods, works and services:

- Consultants to prepare engineering designs, to assist with
launching international tenders, to supervise the civil works, and
to assist with general project implementation.
- Civil works for the rehabilitation of the airport's main runway,
taxiways and apron

Procurement of contracts will be conducted through the procedures
specified in Procurement Policies and Rules[1] of the European Bank
for Reconstruction and Development, and is open to all bidders from
eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines.

Tendering for the technical assistance contract is expected to begin
in the second half of 2001. .

Specific procurement notices for contracts to be bid under
international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures will be announced,
as they become available, in the Development Gateway Market, and EBRD
Website.
