Abstract:   1) The light rail system will be constructed between the center of Bergen and Nesttun (approx. 10 km) in stages. The route is approx. 5,4 km in road areas, approx. 1,4 km on a separate track and approx. 3,2 km in a tunnel/culvert and 3 bridges are included. The works will consist of all the activities involved in the construction of the Bergen Light Rail system, including utility relocation, civil works, tunnel and bridge works and technical system. See the descriptions below. 2) Some pipes and cables will need to be re-laid before the route for the light rail system between the center of Bergen and Nesstun can be established. The preparatory works will mainly be carried out in the areas with many pipes, cables as well as areas of difficult ground. 3) The route for the light railway between the center of Bergen and Nesstun, approx. 10 km will be established in stages. The routes runs along approx. 5,4 km of road areas, approx. 1,4 km on a separate track, approx. 3,2 km in tunnel/culvert and 3 bridges are included. The works will consist of civil works, bridges, blasting tunnels and concrete works. 4) The route for the construction of the light railway between the centre of Bergen and Nesttun, approx. 10 km will be established in stages. The route runs along 5,4 km of road areas, approx. 1,4 km on a separate track in the open air, approx. 3,2 km in tunnel/culvert. The works will consist of works in an existing road so as to establish a light railway track, as well as establishing covers in the railway track. 5) The route for the light railway between the center of Bergen and Nesstun, approx. 10 km will be established in stages. The routes runs along 5,4 km of road areas, approx. 1,4 km on a separate track in the open air, and approx. 3,2 km in tunnel/culvert. The works will consist of technical installations, including track, power supply, signaling, SCADA.
