Proposals are being requested and this solicitation DTFAEN-12-R-00041 is being issued as a Request for Offer (RFO).
FAA has a requirement for Armed Guard Services at the Southern Region Headquarters, College Park, Georgia.
The NAICS code is 561612 and Size Standard $18.5M
SITE VISIT: There is a site visit scheduled on May 16, 2012 at 8:00 AM EST at the Southern Region Headquarters, College Park. Contact Contracting Officer, Karina Espinosa, via email at karina.espinosa@faa.gov to schedule to attend. Include name of company and name of each person planning to attend no later than May 15, 2012 at 8:00 AM EST. ******Attendance is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*******
A description of the submittal requirements and evaluation factors can be found in Sections "L" and "M" of the Solicitation. ***Please ensure that you read these sections completely and submit all required documents. Failure to do so can result in your submission being deemed nonresponsive.
Note: A tiered evaluation will be utilized, see Section "M" of the solicitation package.
All questions shall be addressed to the Contracting Officer in writing via email or fax.

Any responses received after June 5, 2012, 3:00 EST, will not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals.
This SIR is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of proposals.
This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000. For further information and applicable forms concerning the STLP, call the OSDBU at (800) 532-1169.
