TheGovernment of the DemocraticTimor-Leste through Ministry of Social Solidarity (MSS) has received financing in the amount of US$ 1.455 million equivalent from the World Bank toward the costof the Social Protection Administration Project (SPAP), and it intendsto apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, relatedservicesand consulting services to be procured under this project.
Theproject includes two (2)components: (1) support theManagement information System (MIS) and Services delivery Innovation. The component comprises of (i) MIS Hardware, system design, development and deployment and (ii) Technical Advisory services on Project Management and implementation, (2) Capacity Building and Training. Thiscomponent comprises of (i) Capacity Building through Study Tour, Workshop and training.
Procurement of contracts financed bythe World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits (dated January 2011), and is open to all eligiblebidders as defined in the guidelines. Consultingservices will be selected in accordance with the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World BankBorrowers(dated January 2011).
Specific procurement notices forcontracts to be bid under the World Bank's international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures and for contracts for consultancyservices will be announced, as they become available, in UN DevelopmentBusiness.
