TheGovernments of SAMOA, TONGA, TUVALU AND VANUATU has receivedfinancing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Pacific Aviation Investment Project (PAIP) and intends to apply part of the proceedstoward payments under the contract(s) for theSupply and Delivery of AircraftPassenger Boarding / Disembarking Gangways.

 

Ministry of Information, Communications, Transport, Tourism Development (MICTTD), Samoa AirportAuthority(SAA), Tonga AirportsLimited (TAL), Ministry of Communications & Transport (MCT), Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Utilities(MIPU) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders forSupplyand Delivery of Aircraft Passenger Boarding / Disembarking Gangways.

Lot 1 Samoa

·        Minimum Liquid Asset Requirement US$ 25, 000

·        Average Annual Construction Turnover US$150, 000 for the last Five years

·        5 years of General Construction Experience

·         Specific Experience: 2 similar sized and natured contracts over the last 5 years

Lot 2 Tonga

·        Minimum Liquid Asset Requirement US$ 40, 000

·        Average Annual Construction Turnover US$250, 000 for the last Five years

·         5 years ofGeneral Construction Experience

·         SpecificExperience: 2 similar sizedand natured contracts over the last 5 years

Lot 3 Tuvalu

·        Minimum Liquid Asset Requirement US$ 25, 000

·        Average Annual Construction Turnover US$150, 000 for the last Five years

·         5 years ofGeneral Construction Experience

·         SpecificExperience: 2 similar sizedand natured contracts over the last 5 years

Lot 4 Vanuatu

·        Minimum Liquid Asset Requirement US$ 130, 000

·        Average Annual Construction Turnover US$850, 000 for the last Five years

·         5 years ofGeneral Construction Experience

·         SpecificExperience: 2 similar sizedand natured contracts over the last 5 years

 

 

 

 

Bidding will beconducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurementof Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers,   January  2011  ("Procurement Guidelines"), and is open to all eligible biddersas defined in the Procurement Guidelines. Inaddition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.

Pre-bid conference and Sitevisit will be organized.

 

All bids must beaccompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration.

 

Bids must bedelivered to the address below on or before 11:00hrs (Tonga Time), June1, 2017.

 

Electronicbidding will not be permitted.Late bids will be rejected.

 

Bids will bepublicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at11:00hrs (Tonga Time), June 1, 2017.
