2017 Aggregate Supply, Haul and Stockpile - Contract No. 171-00289-00

SCOPE OF WORK
The work under the terms of this Contract involves the supplying, loading, hauling and stockpiling of aggregates for CAMROSE COUNTY. The Contractor shall work within the limits shown on the plans or as directed by the Consultant.

The scope of work shall include but not be limited to:

Schedule “A”

2017
-Supplying, loading, hauling and stockpiling 15,000 m3 of Des. 4 Cl. 20 at Stockpile Site No.1 (SE 6-49-20-W4) must be completed by July 31, 2017, with an additional 15,000 m3 of Des. 4 Cl. 20 at Stockpile Site No.1 (SE 6-49-20-W4) to be completed by October 31, 2017. The Contractor is advised that stockpiling cannot commence prior to June 15, 2017.
2018
-Supplying, loading, hauling and stockpiling the remaining 20,000 m3 of Des. 4 Cl. 20 at Stockpile Site No.1 (SE 6-49-20-W4) must be completed by March 31, 2018. The Contractor is advised that stockpiling cannot commence prior to January 1, 2018.
Schedule “B”
-Supplying, loading, hauling and stockpiling 15,000 m3 of Des. 4 Cl. 20 at Stockpile Site No. 2 (SE 44-21-W4) (Ferintosh Pit) must be completed by October 31, 2017.

The quantities stated above are estimates only and shall not be construed as a guarantee of the actual amounts of aggregate materials to be purchased by the County.

The gravel material shall conform to the Alberta Transportation Aggregates Designation 4 Class 20 as is described in table 3.2.3.1 of the Specifications. Any material determined by the County not to be acceptable, may be refused at the sole discretion of the County. Rejected materials shall be removed from the site.

Unless otherwise specified, the Contractor shall supply all materials necessary to complete the Work. A complete job is called for, therefore any labour, material, equipment, tool or incidental item not specifically mentioned, but necessary for completeness will be considered incidental to the Work and no separate or additional payment will be made.

Each Bidder, in submitting a Tender, acknowledges that he has examined the site and the surrounding areas, and is familiar with all conditions and/or restrictions which could affect or limit his operation due to such things as environmental constraints, public traffic and/or property of others.
