Strategic Environmental Assessment of Coffee Sector in Burundi operates in Burundi.
The objective of this activity is to carry out a strategic environmental assessment of the coffee sector reforms in Burundi. The consultant will analyse the potential environmental and social impacts of the coffee sector reforms in Burundi. The selected consultant/s will be responsible for
• An analysis of expected positive and negative impacts caused by, and risks associated with the coffee sector reforms, and proposals for alternatives and/or mitigating initiatives in the case negative impacts are anticipated.
• An assessment of the effectiveness of the current Burundi’s EIA procedures for coffee sector investments.
• A well documented stakeholder validation process.
