ARMENIA GEOTHERMAL PROJECT - GEOFUND APL2-. Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency operates in Armenia.
The project will include the following phases:
Phase one: This will include geological field works (scouting) and magneto-telluric (MT) sounding of the two selected potential geothermal fields.
Phase two: This will involve performing of three dimensional (3D) seismic survey. The 3D survey will allow sketching the outline of the subsurface structure and encompassing the depth of potential geothermal reservoir, its thickness and extent, and the presence of major fault zones.
