The objectives of the Second Aids and STD Control Project are: 1) to reduce the incidence of HIV and STD infection and 2) expand and improve diagnosis, treatment, and care of persons with HIV, AIDS, and STD. The project components include: 1) AIDS and STD prevention, 2) diagnosis, treatment and care for HIV, AIDS, and STD patients, and 3) strengthening of public and private institutions for AIDS/STD control
