The Country Environmental Analysis (CEA) will include the following elements: (a) Identification of environmental priorities to ensure competitiveness, promote sustainable development, and achieve poverty reduction. (b) Diagnosis of the enabling environment (policies and governance) to better tackle challenges and take advantage of opportunities. (c) Analysis of the implications of the preceding activities on public and private projects financed by the Bank, including an analysis of the implications for the preparations of the Bank Country Strategy and projects in the pipeline. (d) Validation of the CEA, applying a focal groups methodology
