Transfrontier Conservantion Areas and Tourism Development Project. Ministry of Tourism operates in Mozambique.
1. The Government of Mozambique has obtained funds to implement the Transfrontier Conservation Areas and Tourism Development Project (TFCATDP) distributed as follows: GEF grant ($10 million) fully blended with an IDA Credit ($20.6 million) and a PHRD grant ($3.7 million).

The objective of the TFCATDP is to promote growth in community-private sector led environmentally and socially sustainable tourism in TFCAs. The Project consists of the following components:

Component 1: Strengthening Policy, Legal and Institutional Framework for TFCAs
Component 2: Integrated District Development Planning
Component 3: Community and Private Sector-Led Tourism Development
Component 4 Protected Areas maanagement
Component 5: Project Management, Communications, and Monitoring and Evaluation
