The Municipal Environmental Infrastructure Project seeks to: (a) reduce municipal wastewater pollutant discharges into the environmentally sensitive Kastela and Trogir Bays consistent with Croatian and EU (European Union) standards; (b) improve the safety, reliability, and delivery of drinking water in the project area; and (c) improve the operational and financial performance of the water and wastewater utility, to make it more attractive for private sector participation in the future
