Coal Mine Methane Demonstration Project. Shanxi Provincial Government operates in China.
The Project will establish a coal mine methane (CMM) demonstration project at Jincheng in the southern part of Shanxi Province, which comprises the following components:

Part A, CMM and coalbed methane (CBM) production for a power plant of 120 megawatt (MW);
Part B, CMM transmission and distribution to consumers in the Jincheng area;
Part C, institutional strengthening and capacity building.

The proceeds of the proposed loan will be utilized for the procurement
