PURCHASE OF VEHICLES
FOR JUDICIAL DECISIONS ENFORCEMENT OFFICES
MINISTRY OF JUSTICE

1. This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. 600 of 16 February 2003.

2. The Government of Albania has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Legal and Judicial Reform Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for Purchase of Vehicles for Judicial Decisions Enforcement Offices in the Ministry of Justice of Albania (MOJ).

3. The Ministry of Justice now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Purchases of 4 WD Vehicles for Enforcement Offices.

4. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from PIU Legal and Judicial Reform, Ministry of Justice and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 9 00-13 00 hrs.

6. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 100 USD. The method of payment will be bank transfer to the following Bank Account: The Savings Bank of Albania, Branch 1, and Account No. 9331/3784. The document will be sent by courier services and the couriers expenses must be add to the above-mentioned amount.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 03.00 pm (Tirana time), December 01, 2004 Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 10,000 USD or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Late bids will be rejected.Bids will be opened at 3 p.m. (Tirana time) December 01, 2004 in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below:
