This request for expressions of interest follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in Development Business No. 603 of 31st March 2003.
The Government of Grenada has received a loan and credit from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IRDB) and the International Development Association (IDA) in the amount of US$6.04 equivalent toward the cost of the HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Project, and it intends to apply the proceeds of this loan and credit to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under this project. The project will include the following consultancy service:

HIV/AIDS Case Management, Surveillance and Monitoring Information System

The services include the following:

· Acquisition, adaptation and implementation of a clinical MIS for HIV/AIDS Case Management including electronic medical records to support decision making for the diagnosis, treatment, cost and outcome assessment of Highly-Active Anti Retroviral Therapy (HAART) and opportunistic infections, and for the Surveillance and Monitoring of HIV/AIDS/STI .

The Project Co-ordination Unit now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants may submit expressions of interest for the above services, however they must provide information (brochures, application demos (CDs), description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.) indicating that they are qualified to perform the services. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, January 1997 (revised Sept. 1997, Jan. 1999 and May 2002).
Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below from 0900 to 1500 hours daily Monday to Friday.
Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below by 1500 hours on Friday 22nd August 2003.
