Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date of award will be approximately December 1, 2008. The contract performance period is anticipated to consist of a base year from effective date of award through 12 months and will include four, 12-month option years for renewal.

The current Certificate Program has a five course curriculum that includes Introduction to Business, Introduction to Computers, Written Business Communications, Human Relations in The Workplace and Financial Accounting. The types of services will include, but are not limited to: student registration (college), transcript services, record keeping, and student counseling. The proposed contract shall be awarded to the proposed contractor who can provide services at the lowest per credit cost and provide the most beneficial support services to the inmate students. Only post secondary educational institutions that have accreditation status should submit an offer for the Advanced Occupational Training Program to the Federal Bureau of Prisons. It is estimated that the enrollment will be 20 to 50 students per class.
