INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID
(IAEB No. 14-2008)

The Bureau of Food and Drugs, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites suppliers/manufacturers/distributors/contractors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project:

Brief Description : 15 Janitors & 1 Supervisor

Approved Budget
For the Contract : Total ABC for the contract is Php 3,191,062.00 (GAA).Bidders whose proposed bid exceeds the ABC shall be disqualified.

Contract Duration : 12 months
Contract Period : December 2008 to November 2009

Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last two (2) years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding. The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary "pass/fail" criteria. Bid evaluation and post qualification of the lowest calculated and responsive bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference, Evaluation of bids, Post Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provision of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

Bid Documents will be available only to prospective bidders upon payment of non-refundable amount of TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED PESOS ONLY (Php 2,500.00) to the Bureau of Food and Drugs' Cashier.

The Bureau of Food and Drugs assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of the bid.
