EXCEPT AS MODIFIED OR AMPLIFIED IN RFP, THIS ITEM CONTAINS CLASS "C" EXPLOSIVES. DFAR CLAUSE 252.223-7002, SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR AMMUNITION AND EXPLOSIVES (MAY 1994) APPLIES. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS EXPLOSIVE NAVAL ORDNANCE ITEMS, WHICH REQUIRE SPECIAL SECURITY, SAFETY AND TRANSPORTATION CLAUSES. THE CLAUSES MAY BE FOUND IN SECTION "I". CODE 0242.05 NOTE: PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED BY THE NAVY. THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED. THIS ITEM IS AN EXPLOSIVE DEVICE. QUANTITY - 199 EACH. ITEM DESCRIPTION: SEAT STABILIZATION ROCKET MOTOR USED ON VARIOUS AIRCRAFT. A SAFETY SURVEY WILL BE REQUIRED. EXPLOSIVE WEIGHT - 1.1 LBS EXPLOSIVE CLASS - 1.4 FIRST ARTICLLE TESTING, PRODUCTION LOT TESTING, CONTRACTOR DATA REQUIREMENT LIST AND FOB ORIGIN APPLY. A LIMITED DRAWING PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING ON THE WEB. A DIGITAL CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED FOR VIEWING WEB BASED DRAWINGS. NOTE: This is an electronically formatted solicitation, available only on the Navy Web page at http://www.neco.navy.mil. Paper copies of the solicitation are not available from the Navy.
