INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The Philippine Science High School Central Mindanao Campus through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites suppliers/ manufacturers/distributors/contractors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project:

Brief Description : Security Services of Six (6) Guards for the period covered
January 1 - December 31, 2009
Approved Budget : One Million Sixty Thousand One Hundred Sixty Four Pesos & 00/100
For the Contract ( P 1,060,164.00 )
Contract Duration : January 1 - December 31, 2009 ( twelve months)

Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last 5 years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding, and have key personnel and equipment (owned, leased or under purchase) available for the prosecution of the project. The list of minimum equipment requirement is indicated in the Eligibility Forms. The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary "pass/fail" criteria. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference(s), Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR).

Bid Documents will be available only to prospective bidders upon payment of a non-refundable amount of One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos & 00/100 ( P 1,500.00 ) to the PSHS-CMC Cashier.

The PSHS-CMC assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of the bid. Moreover, the PSHS-CMC BAC reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals at anytime prior to contract award, waive any formality in the bid requirements, declare the bidding a failure, or award the contract to the bidder whose offer is the most responsive, lowest calculated bid, and most advantageous to the government.
