The Commonwealth of Australia represented by the Department of Finance and Deregulation (Finance) is making an open approach to the market in order to seek offers from organisations with the capacity and capability to provide Multifunction Devices (MFDs) and related implementation/transition management services (Services) to Finance.

The selected supplier will be required to acquire 260 MFDs of a model and function that has been certified to work on the Ministerial Communications Network (MCN)  and roll-out the installation across the MCN during a period of approximately 3 months.

The Contractor is required to use its own resources to source, store and deliver the MFDs, and to remove and dispose of the old MFDs and the packaging from the new MFDs according to good environmental practice.

The surplus MFDs may be disposed of by the Contractor for its own benefit provided that this conforms to good environmental practice.  Finance will not pay any additional fees (above the contract price) to the Contractor for the disposal of MFDs.
