The members collectively own over 100,000 properties in the North East of England, with a geographical spread from Blyth, westwards to the Durham area, and south to include the Redcar area and locations in between. It is anticipated that other public sector organisations within the North East and other areas of the UK, may wish to either join the consortium in the future, or become partners of neprocurement. The framework will also include an option for GMP members and partners to use the framework operators for installation and maintenance works they may be required to undertake. This Contract Notice is therefore placed on behalf of the current and future members, and all current and future partners. The award of the framework agreement will not constitute any guarantee of work. neprocurement has already established a number of frameworks for the supply of materials. The purpose of this procurement exercise is to establish a framework of contractors who will work on a 'design and labour only' basis to compliment the materials framework. The frameworks entered into will be managed by neprocurement and all members, either current or future, will be entitled to call off individual contracts, pursuant to the framework agreement.
