II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The members of
neprocurement wish to establish 4-year non-binding framework agreements
for the provision of property repairs and maintenance. Works are primarily
required for planned maintenance and investment programmes.
, However, it is envisaged that works may be required for other activities
such as voids. The works shall include, but shall not be limited to, the
replacement and upgrade of kitchens bathrooms, heating, electrics, windows
and doors. It is the intention of neprocurement to split the available
work into packages, defined by both work type and geographical area, with
the aim of encouraging participation from a spectrum of companies with a
range of capacity levels.

installation services across the North East, for the following
workstreams:
Installation of Kitchens and associated works; Installation of Bathrooms
and associated works; Installation of Windows and Doors and associated
works; Installation of Heating Related Items and associated works;
Electrical Re-Wiring and associated works. These workstreams may be
further sub-divided by geographical area.

months: 48 (from the award of the contract).

LOT NO 1
TITLE: Windows and Doors Installation Services and all Additional Works
1) SHORT DESCRIPTION: The installation of Windows, Doorsets and all
associated installation requirements, including making good of apertures.

TITLE: Kitchen Installation and Associated Works
1) SHORT DESCRIPTION: The installation of kitchens and all associated
works including, but not limited to, patching plasterworks, painting and
decorating, joinery, flooring and electrical requirements. Full details
are provided within the Pre Qualification Questionnaire additional
documentation.

primarily within the North East of England.

SECTION III: LEGAL, ECONOMIC, FINANCIAL AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION
III.1) CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE CONTRACT

whom the contract is to be awarded: a) A joint venture/group will be
required to nominate a lead partner with whom the awarding body can
contract or form themselves into a single entity before the framework is
agreed. b) For single legal entities/Incorporated Joint Ventures
submitting an acceptable offer, a corporate Statement of Intent to form
itself into a single entity must be provided before any framework can be
awarded. The Contractor must state in the PQQ in Section 2 whether it is
an Incorporated Joint Venture or an Unincorporated Joint Venture. In the
case of an Unincorporated Joint Venture, the Contractor will be required
to confirm the names of the contracting entities, should they be selected
to tender.

VI.3) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Neprocurement is a recently formed
consortium of Social Housing Landlords with interests in the North East of
England. neprocurement is currently made up of 10 organisations comprising
LSVT's, ALMO's and traditional housing associations. The members
collectively own over 100,000 properties in the North East of England,
with a geographical spread from Blyth, westwards to the Durham area, and
south to include the Redcar area and locations in between. It is
anticipated that other public sector organisations within the North East
and other areas of the UK, may wish to either join the consortium in the
future, or become partners of neprocurement. The framework will also
include an option for GMP members and partners to use the framework
operators for installation and maintenance works they may be required to
undertake. This Contract Notice is therefore placed on behalf of the
current and future members, and all current and future partners. The award
of the framework agreement will not constitute any guarantee of work.
neprocurement has already established a number of frameworks for the
supply of materials. The purpose of this procurement exercise is to
establish a framework of contractors who will work on a 'design and labour
only' basis to compliment the materials framework. The frameworks entered
into will be managed by neprocurement and all members, either current or
future, will be entitled to call off individual contracts, pursuant to the
framework agreement. Any such contract shall be held, managed and
supervised by the individual member organisation making the call-off.

23rd and 24th September to coincide with the launch of the Pre
