Note: Construction of Four Service Areas on Islamabad – Peshawar Motorway (M-1) on B.O.T. basis.
Tender Fee: (non refundable) Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only).

National Highway Authority (NHA) intends to construct four Service Areas on Islamabad – Peshawar Motorway (M-1) at Indus River and Hano Rive on B.O.T. basis. The concession period will be 10-15 years. NHA has already acquired land and fill platforms for the said service areas are completed which will become NHA’s equally in the concession.
Concessionaire is required to Finance, Construct, Manage and Operate the facilities compatible with M-2 Service Areas but not limited to following:
(i) Restaurants
(ii) Toilets
(iii) CNG Station/ Filling Station with Tuck Shop
(iv) Tyre Shop
(v) Mosque
(vi) Parking Areas
(vii) Amusement and Children Park
(viii) Internal Roads, Sewerage, Water Supply and Electrification.
NHA invites Expression of Interest from domestics and Foreign private entrepreneurs, joint ventures and consortia which are required to submit following information along with relevant documentation to enable NHA to assess qualification of the Company/ Joint Ventures.
(a) Companies/ joint venture profile and experience
(b) Financial capabilities with Audited reports of last three years.
(c) Statement of their capabilities and experience of similar services they have so far rendered anywhere in the world
(d) Personnel capabilities with Bio-data of Key Personnels duly signed.
(e) Legal status of the company
(f) Litigation history
(g) Affidavit that the firms never blacklisted.
Requested for Proposal (RFP) with pertinent details shall be issued to the qualified companies/ JVs against non refundable fee of Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only). All interested entrepreneurs are requested to submit their Expression of Interest on or before 29th September, 2008.
NHA reserves the right to reject any or all Expression of Interest without assigning any reason thereof.
