The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Advanced Occupational Education Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix, New Jersey, located on Hartford Road, Fort Dix, New Jersey. Courses may include Computer Aided Drafting, Advanced Computer Aided Drafting, Computer Application, and Hazardous Material Handling. Total classes will consist of an estimated 920 one (1) hour sessions per year, with an estimated minimum of 20 students per class (estimated 100-130 sessions per class). Contractor must be accredited or affiliated with a nationally accredited institution. The contract shall consist of a base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 29, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 30, 2008. Anticipated date of award is October 30, 2008. This will be a full and open competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
