SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT

County Council is seeking to appoint a Sole suipplier for the hire of non
operated plant.
For 24 Months initially with options to extend for a further 2 x 12months.

II.2) QUANTITY OR SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT
II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: This contract is for the supply for Hire
of Non Operated plant for use by Northumberlands Highays department. The
plant will be delivereed into approximately 12 Sites. All details of the
type and numbers of plant required will be published with the tender
documents.
Estimated value excluding VAT:
Range: between 3 000 000 and 4 000 000 GBP.

II.3) DURATION OF THE CONTRACT OR TIME-LIMIT FOR COMPLETION: Duration in
months: 48 (from the award of the contract).

extend which if taken would have a bearing on the date a further notice is
published ie if non of the options to extend are taken up then it will be
next published in 2010 if we take up 12 Months it will be 2011 and 24
Months will make it 2012.
