The Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, Carson Ranger district is posting a solicitation for an integrated resources service contract (IRSC). This will be a firm-fixed price contract awarded utilizing best value techniques under the stewardship authority. This contract includes felling and yarding of an estimated 3,794 CCF (hundred cubic feet) of Jeffrey pine and other sawtimber located on 237 acres. Helicopter yarding is specified on all acres. Service items include: 1. Whole tree yarding (tops and limbs attached) of designated timber to landing, estimated at 2,270 tons. 2. Removal of slash off of National Forest System Lands, estimated at 2,270 tons. Delivery Schedule Expected to award in September/October, 2008. Contract will terminate in 3 years from date of award.
