REQUEST FOR TENDER AusAID, the Australian Agency for International Development, manages the Australian Government's official overseas aid program. AusAID assists developing countries to reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development, in line with Australia's national interest. AusAID is seeking a Contractor (either an organisation or consortium) to undertake the following development initiative. HEALTH RESOURCE FACILITY AusAID requires a Health Resource Facility (HRF) to provide rapid and reliable access to international best practice in the Health sector. The HRF, to be based on a 'resource centre' model, is intended to be the primary source for AusAID to access health and HIV development expertise and will deliver technical services across the agency. It is anticipated that the Facility will commence in January 2009 and will stand for a three (3) year period, with an option to extend for up to an additional three (3) years at AusAID's discretion.
