County Council wishes to appoint an organisation to undertake the role of
Host to a Local Involvement Network (LINk) covering its geographical
council boundary as required under Local Government and Public Involvement
in Health Act 2007. The Host organisation will be responsible to assist in
the establishment, maintenance and ongoing support of the LINk. The role
of the LINk is primarily to obtain the views of the local community about
their need for and experiences of using local health and social care
services. The initial role of the host is to secure and recruit
representation from local community groups and/or members of the public to
act as members of the LINk and once established facilitate and support the
ongoing day to day activities of the LINk. Further information is
