The Chairman Transmission Minor Procurement Committee on behalf of Ceylon Electricity Board invites sealed tenders for the construction of under-mentioned items.
Tenders or their Accredited Agents could purchase Tender documents on application and on payment of a non-refundable tender fee per set as stated above in the form of a bank draft/money order paying office – Colombo) drawn in favour of the General Manager, Ceylon Electricity Board, from the deputy General Manager (Operation and Maintenance), Ceylon Electricity Board, Kent Road, Colombo 09 between 900 am and 3 pm on any working day till the issue of Tender Documents up to 1200 Noon on 22/8/2008. Tenders should be submitted only on documents purchased from the CEB.
Tenders may be sent through the post under registered cover or tenderer or his agent may personally hand over the tender to deputy General Manager (Operation and Maintenance) who is authorized to receive and acknowledge tenders before the closing time.
Tenders will be received by the Deputy General Manager Operation and Maintenance, Ceylon Electricity Board, Kent Road, Colombo 09 up to 14.00 hours on 27/8/2008. Tenders will be opened immediately after closing after time. Tenders or their authorized representatives will be permitted to be present at the time of opening tenders. Late tenders will be returned unopened.
Clarification if any shall be sought 5 working days before the closing of tenders at Deputy General Manager operation and Maintenance, Ceylon Electricity Board, Kent Road, Colombo 09
