The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) located in Anniston, Alabama has a requirement for the purchase and installation of fence material around the student lodging area. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to complete the project.

Contractor shall be licensed in the state of Alabama.
Contract must have a minimum of five (5) years of significant supplier and installer experience.

The work includes:
• Provide and install black vinyl coated chain link fence
• Provide and install Ameristar Impasse Gaunlet steel fence

A pre-proposal conference will not be held.

A formal site visit is not anticipated.

The proposed procurement is a 100% small business set aside under NAICS 238990 with a corresponding small business size standard of $13.0 Mil.

This procurement will be solicited in accordance with Sealed Bidding of FAR Part 14. The IFB will be available electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities web site, https://fbo.gov, on or about August 14, 2008; bids will be due September 8, 2008. Contract award date is anticipated to be on or about September 12, 2008 and work to begin approximately September 18, 2008.

The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract.

Magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
