Chairman, Regional Procurement Committee - R2 of CEB on behalf of the Ceylon Electricity Board, will receive sealed bids for the supply and delivery of the items mentioned above up to 1000 h on 03rd September 2008. Bids should be submitted only on Bidding Documents purchased from the CEB.
The fee for a set of bidding documents - SLRs 2500.00 The fee for an informatoin copy of a set of bidding documents - SLRs. 250.00 (Payment must be made in cash or bank draft drawn in favour of the General Manager, CEB)
The Bidding Documents or the information copies of the Bidding Documents, may be purchased by prospective bidders or their accredited agents, on submission of a written request to Deputy General Manager (Planning & Development - Region 2), Ceylon Electricity Board, 1st Floor, No. 50, Sir Chittampalam A. Gardiner Mawatha, Colombo 02, Sri Lanka upon payment of the fee indicated above, between 0900 h and 1500 h on any working day till 29.08.2008.
Foreign Diplomatic Mission / Trade Commissions may obtain information copies of the Bidding Documents, free of charge on written request. The Bidding documents may be inspected at the office of the Deputy General Manager (Planning & Development - Region 2), Ceylon Electricity Board, 1st Floor, No. 50, Sir Chittampalam A. Gardiner Mawatha, Colombo 02, Sri Lanka free of charge.
Bids should be deposited in the box provided for this purpose at the office of the Additional General Manager - R2, 2nd Floor, CEB Head Office, No. 50, Sir Chittampalam A. Gardiner Mawatha, Colombo 2, Sri Lanka at or before 1000 h on 03rd September 2008. Late Bids shall be rejected
Bids will be opened at the Office of the Deputy General Manager (P & D) R2, 1st Floor, CEB Head Office immediately after the closing time of the bidding, in the presence of Bidders and their authorised representatives.
All clarifications shall be sought one week before the Bid closing date, from the Deputy General Manager (Projects & Heavy Maintenance) R2 or from Electrical Engineer (Material Coordination & Stores, Projects & Heavy Maintenance - R2), Ceylon Electricity Board, Sri Lanka.
